Southern Glove was established in 1945 by Arthur and Florence Little. Through their hard work and dedication, Southern Glove has grown to become one of the industry leaders in producing top quality hand and arm protection products. After three generations and over sixty years the company is still owned and managed by members of the same family. 

We currently manufacture a wide variety of gloves including single palms, double palms, hot mills, jersey, terry cloth, and Kevlar as well as gloves for cut and heat protection and specialized made to order styles.  We also offer a broad line of imported hand and arm protection products to compliment the styles we manufacture. 

Our products are made from US sourced materials in our wholly owned subsidiary in Honduras which gives us total control over the manufacturing process.  This control combined with Honduras’ close proximity to US markets enables us to offer industry-best quality, low prices and short lead times on make-to-order and special order products. 

Southern Glove is also one of the largest manufacturers of denim and cotton duck aprons and sleeves.  We are currently expanding our manufacturing capacity for a variety of cut and sew products, and we have high quality contract sewing services available.  Our  contract sewing experience includes: gloves, pet products, aprons, sleeves, vests, smocks, tunics and uniforms. 

We carry an extensive inventory of products in our Newton, NC warehouse.  We also have a warehouse in Oklahoma City, OK dedicated to supplying the oilfields with quick turnaround.
